Opus 5.5 is out, and the updates are exciting: Claiming performance comparable to Fable at a fraction of the price, it is priced even cheaper than Opus 5 (around 20%). Among the remaining improvements, I’m personally excited to see them attempting clarity of responses, which would be a big quality of life upgrade. If performance really does get that close to Fable, then it is definitely worth taking a look. But, that’s not all, and supposedly we’ll see both Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 in the next few weeks (also promising efficiency gains). ...

Background You need some UX concept advice, but don’t have access to a professional concept designer. Having worked in adjacent roles and in similar domains, I think you eventually get a sense for things that tend to work and things that don’t. This familiarity doesn’t necessarily translate to an ability to independently implement the ideas though, unless you intentionally cultivate and hone these skills. Essentially, you see value the approach, see yourself able to interface with such a role. You don’t have access to such experts though, so a more pragmatic approachis in order.
